A panoramic photo of the harbor!!!
The interior atrium for the NK department store.
1199 Krona for a pair of Levi's, a little pricey. The salesperson got a little apprehensive when he saw my camera out and came over. I explained how much cheaper Levi's are in The States.
I remember these: from the chocolate store in the basement of NK.
A better shot of the chocolate store in the basement of NK.
The last photo taken on this day: chocolate packaged to look like sardines. Yuck!
This looks to be arriving at Visby airport the next morning. A 7:40am flight from Bromma, lasting 35 minutes.
Interior of Visby airport at 8:15am. Disappointingly, out of focus.
Exterior of Visby airport. The bus runs to the central station, a distance of 2.5 miles. I asked how much and was told 50 Krona. So I walked, not to save money so much as to get a few pictures. Besides, the map showed it wasn't that far.
Interesting fencing.
How to cross the fencing.
They've got golf, and it's by the airport.
Not a bad way to move the clubs.
That would be in kilometers.
Both here and on the mainland, there was an abundance of snails about.
Looking backwards.
More wildflowers.
Tis Medieval Week on Gotland, the name of the island on which Visby is located. This particular sign is for the jousting tournament to take place in the evening.
Alas, signs of civilization.
Old stone above the tree tops. The first sign(s) of Visby's medieval citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Thought I could make something of this roundabout. Not very much.
Jazzing up the ordinary.
It's likely about 9am by this time. Not many folks around, but that will sure change!
Panorama photo of Visby's walls, of which there are 2.1 miles.
A tent city I presume loaded with all of the volunteers working Medieval Week.
Panoramic of the tent city.
