The view looking west from City Hall.
Looking straight across from the City Hall.
Back at the hotel: a Hawaiian pizza I picked up at a grocery store. The hotel's kitchen was used to cook the pizza--that's their plates and silverware.
Inexpensive and tasted pretty good!
Sundbyburg bus stop (the train stop is just behind the bus stop.)
Panoramic photos juxtapose moving cars...
The grocery store as seen from the street. Faces the Sundbyburg train station and bus stop.
In the LIDL grocery store.
The price for said pizza.
The price for 2.2 pounds of crayfish. LIDL is the grocery store's name.
Self-explanatory.
From what I could tell, these were the matching prices for the ostrich and kangaroo steaks.
67 Krona would be equal to $10 U.S. Dollars, so this struck me as very cheap.
Didn't try any.
Two pizzas for 40 Krona. Pizzas shown in the previous photo.
A salami pizza triple pack.
This is slightly more than $2 U.S. Dollars for a .7 pound pizza.
About $10 U.S. Dollars for 4 frozen salmon filets.
Prawns in the next photo.
Less than $10 U.S. Dollars for 1 KG of prawns. A product of Greenland? The title uses the name.
A little better than $3 U.S. Dollars per can of Pringles.
Seafood restaurant "Sturehof". Got this place as a recommendation for a good seafood restaurant from the hotel clerk.
Selected The Shellfish Platter w/ Irish Lobster for 675 Krona. If the "1x Royal Cabanon" was the solo oyster, he both smelled and tasted like the bottom of a lake. Everything else was good.
The initial setup. Many types of bread provided.
Then this arrived. The cheeses were very good!
And finally the main event!
On the right is the solo oyster which wasn't too good.
Some 90 minutes later... The bill includes tax and tip. So pay 675 and leave. I read in a travel guide if the service is good, round up the bill, which meant 700. I threw in an extra 20, making the bill 720. Not sure how the extra 20 was perceived.
At Sturehof, the restrooms are located in the basement. One door is labeled for women, the other for men. Better know your languages...
A better view. That lunch tab in U.S. Dollars? $110.
Evidently, I was interested in ferry boat #80, likelybecause it was free with The Stockholm Card. It travels around the land on the rightsidde of the map.
The Diplomat Hotel. The Royal Stables are behind.
